This fountain pen from the Around the World in 80 Days series is made of anthracite resin and symbolises the journey from Bombay to Yokohama. A cartouche on the cap shows the elephant that carries the travellers. The clip features a red diamond suit, and the cone is engraved with motifs inspired by Princess Aouda’s jewellery and playing card suits to represent Mr. Fogg’s bet. The cap top is inscribed with the travel durations: 25 days for this leg, 80 days overall. The hand made 14K gold nib bears a hot air balloon and the departure times: 20:00 on 20 October from Bombay and 18:00 on 14 November from Yokohama.
